My Husband and I live in a neighborhood called Trent Woods, and yes there are a lot of woods! Deer roam everywhere. There is rarely a night where we turn the corner to our home and don’t see three to five deer hanging out in front of our house. My husband always gets a kick out of rolling the windows down and “speaking” to the deer haha. The sound is something similar to “Mehhhhhh”. The deer usually are not convinced haha. Our favorite game meat though is venison. My husband, Taylor, might disagree, saying that dove breast are the “filet of the sky”, but universally deer meat is the best. It’s lean, flavorful and wonderful in spaghetti or tacos. Needless to say, we are very grateful to have these deer apart of our community.
