Swans have always been known for being absolutely beautiful birds. They are known as a symbol for love and connection. Last year my husband, Taylor, got a swan mounted. I can tell you there was no love or connection when it arrived at our home. Although these birds are beautiful, they are MASSIVE. Our sweet home was just not big enough for this huge swan mount. After several month of convincing, the swan has finally been moved to a much more appropriate location, Taylor’s office. Nevertheless we do laugh now about how ridiculous our little house looked with a massive swan mount. I like to think this painting is a good compromise to both sides!
